Tinubu in closed-door meeting with ex-CBN gov Sanusi at State House

Former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, is in a closed-door meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.

Sanusi, who previously served as the Governor of the Central Bank, arrived at the Villa a few minutes before 5:00 pm.

This meeting comes just one week after President Tinubu suspended Godwin Emefiele, the former Governor of Nigeria’s central bank.

While the specific details of their discussion have not been made public, it is noteworthy that this is their first meeting since Tinubu assumed the presidency on May 29.
