Tinubu, Atiku, Obi praise record-breaker, Hilda Baci

Hilda broke the Individual Guinness World Record for the longest Cooking marathon. This achievement has been met with congratulatory messages from prominent figures in the country.

“I congratulate Hilda Effiong Bassey on her record-breaking achievement. It was a remarkable display of the Nigerian can-do attitude and the spirit of excellence that lies within. We are deeply proud of her.” – President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu said in an Instagram post.

Former governor of Akwa-Ibom, Godswil Akpabio promised the 27-year-old Nigerian chef, a reward after the marathon.

“I pray for her success and I promise to reward her at the end of the event.”

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi also showered the chef with words of praise.

Hilda is poised at setting a personal record of 96 hours of cooking.
