“Asiwaju is a man of his own word, he’s going to be a president that will be supporting women’s empowerment going by what he has done for women in the past as a governor, politician, and as a leader. Looking at the recently published transition committee, I can say to you that I am impressed and convinced that Asiwaju will take women along in his government,” she said.

“Before now, we have been clamouring for 35% women representation all along and that is a good start for Nigerian women, and if you ask me that is the major selection after the election.

“I’m a woman and one of the reasons I stand for Asiwaju is because of his position for women, anybody that stands for women to get the necessary support, the needed freedom, empowerment mentorship, especially to serve as a young woman in Nigeria who have been denied of taking their place in the leadership roles.”
