My consistent award winning is down to handwork, says Sodiq

Highly rated former Messiah FC and Remo Stars defender Rasheed Sodiq is happy for being listed in another Macedonia league team of the week over his consistent performance in the colours of Skopje FC.

Without doubt, the 22-year-old free scoring Nigeria defender has been soaring high in the Macedonian top league, showing defensive qualities that rated him as one of the best defenders in the league this season.

Sodiq always shows up his quality especially against the dominating big clubs, which has also carved games with goals recently.

“I won’t stop winning awards, as long as I keep giving my best for my club, this club means alot to me and as a player I am ready to keep playing well,” said Sodiq.

“My only secret is hardworking, I work harder every day to maintain top form. God has been wonderful to me here and I need to keep doing well to ensure good recommendation. I am happy here and I will continue doing best.”

His recent goals have positioned him as one of the best rated Africa youngster in Europe and he’s already knocking at top clubs who are monitoring his progress in the league and are having chat with his agent for bigger move.

In the round of 26 game, FK Skope played 1-1 draw with Akademija Pandev where Sodiq displayed another thrilling performance.
